Make the season bright during Providence’s Three Nights of Lights. This annual three-day festival includes fun for the whole family, with free citywide events, all incorporating the theme of light. The festivities include installations and activations by WaterFire, FirstWorks, and The Avenue Concept, tree lightings, live entertainment, holiday markets, and so much more.

Providence Artisans Market starts the Holiday shopping season with its Holiday Show at the WaterFire Arts Center on Saturday and Sunday, December 17 and 18, 10 am to 4 pm! Showcasing 80 local artists exhibiting The BEST handmade works including paintings, ceramics, jewelry, photography, clothing, accessories, mixed media, and more! Food trucks too! Holiday Lights Spectacular at Roger Williams Park Zoo
November 29, 2024 – January 4, 2024
Bring family and friends to experience Holiday Lights Spectacular – Rhode Island’s brightest annual walk-through experience just in time for the holidays. Featuring festive, larger-than-life dazzling displays, this year’s event is even bigger and brighter boasting more than 3 ½ million illuminated lights that transform the Zoo’s 40 acres into a winter wonderland! Join us and ring in the season nightly from November 29 through January 4. Bundle up, grab a hot chocolate or wintertime treat, or even roast some s’mores!
From radiant reindeer to sparkly snowmen, this is a must-see New England tradition this holiday season. And for the little ones, Santa will be at the Spectacular on Thursday nights in December through Christmas. The visit is free to families who have a same-night 5 or 6 pm ticket only.
Providence Flea Winter Market
November 29 – December 22, 2024
A seasonal favorite in Providence, held indoors at the Farm Fresh RI Market Hall, to bring a cozy shopping experience as the weather cools down. It features a curated selection of local vendors, artisans, and vintage collectors, providing a wonderful mix of unique finds, handmade goods, and delicious local food. The indoor flea is held select Sundays from November 29 to December 22.
