Rhode Island offers a variety of bike paths that provide scenic rides through diverse landscapes, including coastal views, woodlands, and urban settings. It’s common to see various birds and other wildlife, especially in the marsh areas. Some of the notable bike paths in our state are:

1. East Bay Bike Path

2. Blackstone River Bikeway

  • Length: 48 miles (planned), with about 18.2 miles completed
  • Route: Runs from Providence, RI to Worcester, MA
  • Highlights: Scenic views of the Blackstone River and historical sites related to the Blackstone Valley’s industrial heritage.
  • Grab a bite: Narragansett Brewery | White Owl | River Falls

5. Ten Mile River Greenway

  • Length: 3 miles
  • Route: Runs through East Providence and Pawtucket
  • Highlights: Follows the Ten Mile River, offering picturesque views of ponds and wetlands.

6. Woonasquatucket River Greenway

  • Length: 5 miles
  • Route: Runs through Providence and Johnston
  • Highlights: Urban greenway that passes through parks, neighborhoods, and along the Woonasquatucket River.
  • Grab a bite: Nero’s Foundry Cafe | Troop

7. Quonset Point Bike Path

  • Length: 2.5 miles
  • Route: Located in North Kingstown
  • Highlights: Short but scenic path along the Narragansett Bay, ideal for a leisurely ride.
  • Grab a bite: Four Brothers Pizzaria & Restaurant
